After days of speculation and social media rumours claiming that the popular Royal Heritage Festival had been cancelled, Phalaphala FM has officially put the rumours to rest by announcing the dates for the 2026 edition of the event.
The annual festival traditionally held at Royal Gardens near Nadoni Dam, will return this September with a fresh identity. The event has been renamed the Phalaphala Royal Heritage Family Festival, reflecting a broader family-friendly entertainment experience.
According to the announcement, the festival will take place from 24 to 26 September 2026. Music lovers and festival-goers can look forward to three days of entertainment, culture, and celebration.
While excitement is already building, organisers have confirmed that the official artist lineup and ticket prices will be announced soon.
With the dates now confirmed, fans can start marking their calendars as one of Limpopo’s most anticipated annual events prepares for its return.
